Rich earth summit 2025
Last week, our team had the pleasure of attending the virtual Rich Earth Summit 2025. Three days packed with inspiring talks, innovative ideas and meaningful conversations about the future of ecological sanitation. Even from behind our screens, the energy of the global reuse community was unmistakable.
One of the highlights for us was seeing our own Jenna Senecal present on the Kissamaja. Her session drew a lot of interest and sparked thoughtful discussion about practical, scalable urine-diversion solutions. The feedback from participants showed just how much curiosity and momentum there is around this approach, and it was great to be part of that dialogue.
Across the summit, topics ranged from policy developments and nutrient recovery to system design and community engagement. The diversity of perspectives, researchers, practitioners, policymakers and entrepreneurs, reminded us how many pieces come together to push this field forward. We left the event feeling energized and more connected than ever to the wider circular sanitation movement.
A big thank-you to the Rich Earth Institute for hosting another engaging and well-organized summit. We’re already looking forward to next year!
